Venue History - The QEII Conference Centre is a conference centre in London, UK. It is located in the heart of the city, only a minute's walk from the Palace of Westminster. It was opened by HM Queen in 1986. It is operated by the British government as an executive agency of Communities & Local Government.  The centre has 4 main auditoria, 7 conference rooms and many smaller rooms. The largest room is the Churchill Auditorium, which has a 700 capacity. It specialises in events of between 40 and 1,000 delegates. Due to its location it attracts many high profile events. It also has 2,000 square metres of space for exhibitions.
